I always thought writing was a solitary job. But in 2013 I started a freelance project alongside a tall bloke called Ed. We quickly realised that working together made both of our writing better. So the following year, we made it official and set up Writing Club.

Nowadays Ed runs a lot of our tone of voice work. But even after 15+ years on the job, he still loves getting stuck into a writing brief. He brings a combination of creativity and crystal-clear commercial thinking to each one. And he’s allergic to anything that won’t work in the real world.

He doesn’t like to talk about it (much) but he also has a Masters in Environmental Technology. So his absolute favourite thing is helping companies who are trying to make the world a better place.

This innate optimism and belief in doing the right thing runs through everything Ed does. In fact, I truly believe it’s one of Writing Club’s secret superpowers.
